She's All Grown Up

My middle sister turned 19 and we decided to do mini heart cakes with a monogram on them - a 'K' for Karissa. All were chocolate and done in turquoise blue and pink. Again the pictures are a little fuzzy but you can see them and my beautiful sister.

Homemade Hostess Cupcakes

Yummy, yummy hostess cupcakes. And yes they even had a creme filling!

Easter, Easter, Easter!

So these pictures are a little fuzzy but for Easter I made some little sheep and bunnies, all together having a party!!

Skittles... Taste the Rainbow

This little rainbow cake was the very first decorative cake I have ever made. Isn't it just adorable :p

In The Beginning Continued...

Here are a couple more pictures of the finale cake I made in the first cake class I took at Michael's.

There is More to Come...

I will post more pictures as soon as I can find all of them. AND Kingdom Kids is starting up again next Wednesday night so I will be making treats every week - be prepared for the madness to begin!!

Beware The Sheep

This was a little sneak peek of the sheep to come for the more recent cake I made... More sheep to come as well as the cake itself.

The Great Bambino

This birthday cake for another oh-so-cool birthday girl named Amanda was the HEAVIEST cake in the world. Well, maybe not in the world but you know what I mean.
For this roller skating party it was all about the disco. We've got the psychadelic cake, roller skates and of course a rice krispie treat disco ball to top it off!

SYTYCD Party

This were just for the fun of it for a little get together to watch a little show called So You Think You Can Dance... Ever heard of it??

My Fist Attempt at Fondant

I got asked to do this birthday cake for the oh-so-cool 9 year old Samantha and I was SSSOOOO nervous! I had never worked with fondant before so I of course had a couple trial runs (some not so good) but overall I think the cake came out great!
And just in case you were wondering, yes it was chocolate with a chocolate buttercream frosting. YUMMY!
!

God Bless America

Enough said...

My Baby Sister is 15

Well it finally happened... the youngest of us three girls has turned 15 and is counting down until she can get her permit. But before that this was the cake I made for her birthday celebration!

Happy Father's Day!

I'm pretty sure I have the greatest dad in the world and he is a HUGE NASCAR fan - especially J. Gordon. So here was the first time consuming cake I did... All for the love of a father <3

The start of the Birthday cakes!

So I finished the cake decorating class and this was the first actual birthday cake I did on my own - Happy Birthday to my little cousin Julia!!

In The Beginning...

So I started my little baking adventure while teaching the raddest kids in the world at KCC. From there I decided to take a cake decorating class with my girl Sarah at Michaels - this was the finale cake.

P.S. I wanted to jump out the window trying to figure out how to make all those darn roses!!
